St. Peter's University Hospital Going Solar

St. Peter's Hospital will be moving ahead with a plan to install 10,000 solar panels at both the main campus on Easton Avenue and their clinic on How Lane. The plan was approved by the city's Planning Board in 2011.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - St. Peter’s University Hospital proposed a plan to install 10,000 solar panels on four of their buildings and two large parking lots. The solar panel system will be able to generate 2.3 million kilowatts of electricity, enough energy to power an estimated 230 homes.

St. Peter's University Hospital to Adopt Historic NYC Chapel

A historic Greenwich Village chapel was purchased by St. Peter's Healthcare System and dismantled. The new owner is hoping to raise $7M for reconstruction on the St. Peter's campus in New Brunswick.

NEW YORK, NY - In December 2010, Saint Peter’s University Hospital’s parent company purchased the pews, stained glass windows, alters and status of one of New York City’s oldest chapels, according to a report on NJ.com.
